Our Earth

This is the planet that gives us LIFE; and this is the same planet we are KILLING
Disneynature's Earth is a documentary about the only known planet capable of supporting life. It shows how different species of both flora and fauna struggle for survival;and how the mere existence of humankind and its exploitation of the resources tremendously affected the environmental cycle.

This documentary primarily showed how beautiful the Earth is (used to be) and what living-in-one-with-nature really means.

Both the hunters and the hunted have a role to play in maintaining the ecological balance- this was the general principle presented in the film. As unfair as it may seem, there are just events in nature that favor those who are stronger, better. This documentary is both a literal and an allegorical presentation of life.

I watched how a pride of lion takes down an elephant, and I thought---this is no match with the injustice of humans. As the great white shark emerged from the water's surface to display its powerful jaws, that scene is still no match with how power-hungry and blood thirsty people have become.

On the other hand, the bond between each individual (especially that of a mother and offspring) had been portrayed. It also showed the unfolding of seasons; the transition from one stage to the other. There were stories of sacrifices, loss, bravery and success.

Our Mother Earth has a story to tell...It isn't just her story but it's the story of us all-her children.

Go Nuts with NUTELLA!!!

My dorm mates just got this crazy idea: exchange gifts on Valentine's Day for lovelife-less people. The one who picked my name gave me a NUTELLA~!

I look crazy in this video (I've known beforehand that it's NUTELLA because of the size, shape and the hardness of the gift/bottle).

I LOVE YOU whoever you are!!! <--- Creepy O-o
Thank you, thank you!

Because...

I don’t care what you say about me, just pronounce my name right.  I’m Rophy, I’m Sly and sometimes I’m Faye. I’m not bipolar (I guess)--- I just have different nicknames. It might sound boyish or what, yes, I know my name’s weird but if you get to know me I’m one good example of “first impressions are your last”.
I’m quiet at first; bubbly the next. I am a loyal person; an honest and understanding one. But honesty I think kind of sticks to my name-I have always been one since kinder (as what my mom told me).
There’s just this one habit which have earned me both friends and enemies. I joke at almost everything. I might make fun of one person but hey, it’s not my fault I found something funny. I’ve already had enemies because of my jokes; but most of the time, I was able to make friends.
I’m a hopeful drummer---right now I have two pairs of drum sticks here at the dorm and NO drum set. I’ve been playing for two years now; no proper training, I just listen and copy. I play better than an 8-year-old if that 8-year-old isn’t Igor Falecki but my level isn’t the same as that of Cobus (sadly). I think he’s the best.
[6:35:40 PM] Rophy Nunes: And oh,I'm also a hopeless marine biologist. Because of my "hopelessnes", I ended up taking nursing.

Aaargh..All because of that HP Mini. D: I hope I'll make it~

A Wrinkle in Our Uniform

I used to sit next to my "best friend" back in high school, but now I'm sitting next to new friends who wear different uniforms from mine. That's life---you don't always get what you want; you just have to learn how to deal with what you're given.
We all posed for the camera with almost the same thought in mind: "I wish I could go back to high school. It's just like having our class picture taken."
