Our Magic 8-ball destiny with Boyfriend

No, my friends and I didn't get a ticket for the Hallyu Fest in SM Mall of Asia BUT....

Isha, Mira and I had originally planned on meeting up at around 8 am and go to SM MOA together so we could line up early and get the tickets. The three of us got there at around 10 already and we seriously thought we were early, until we saw "The Line." So we joined "The Line" and waited there for more or less thirty minutes and noticed that it was progressing. *Yahoo!* But then, moments later someone informed us that there were NO more tickets left; they've already distributed all including those for the 2nd batch.

"No more tickets are to be given out. So you guys should better get going."

Many 'false alarms' occurred during the event which both amused and irritated me. And what kind of event would it be without the screaming? The fangirls and fanboys would scream/shout random lines like "Boyfriend", "Ticket", "Kwangmin" (bias), "Minwoo" ... and ridiculously "Manong Guard". They even sang/shout/screamed "Ojig nan neoui Boyfriend eh eh eh eh" .

We stood there, in front of the center stage, along with the other fans for almost 8 hours and it was one of my most 'dugyot' moments ever. The three of us were positioned right behind the metal barricade, both a good and bad spot, since if Boyfriend makes an appearance, we'll get a good view of them though we were greatly harassed by the people standing behind us. Isha and I were actually talking on what we would do in case the barricades fall and we'd either end up being stepped on or worse. Good thing that never happened, bad thing, there was no reason why a 'stampede' was necessary, for they didn't show up for the rest of our  stay in there.

But at least, we made a few friends during our 8-hour long wait, and to keep ourselves entertained we took pictures of our 'dugyot' moment and at the same time, we ranted on how thirsty the three of us were and on our desire to take a bath at that moment. And oh, we also ranted on how great a failure SM's security is, on how disorganized the Event organizers are, and that they should just have the event at the Parking lot.

We decided to finally leave at around 7 pm sensing that the group was already inside. We had dinner at Karate Kid, where each of us consumed three kiddo punches, talked about random stuffs, witnessed the regular MOA fireworks display and then headed to Fully Booked where the book I brought triggered the alarm twice.

Not giving up what's left of our hopes on seeing the group, we headed back to the center stage and on the way saw a group of fans eavesdropping on a double-door entrance which says, "Authorized Personnel Only." They said it was one of the two backstage doors. *Personal comment: that's just too much* Upon reaching the front area of the center stage which still has barricades surrounding it, we asked some fans if the group made an appearance to which they replied the obvious, "No."

And so we left, wandering around the mall until we decided to go to Toy Kingdom and spent our time in there looking at random stuffs again. One of which was the Magic 8 ball.

Enter Magic 8 ball. It was a battery-operated toy which looks like *ta-tan* a pool ball with an 8 on it only that it's actually a fortune-telling object.

Me: "Will I see Boyfriend?" 8-ball: "Outlook not so good."Me: "Will I be able to go to Korea someday?"8-ball: "It is certain."
Isha: "Will I see Boyfriend?"8-ball: *Can't remember the line but it's something positive*BTW, the 8-ball says Isha will possibly go to Korea someday too.
Mira: after some other weird questions, "Will I see Boyfriend?"8-ball: "Most likely." (or something, but it's positive too)

The responses made us smile but hey, welcome to reality friend. After lingering around some more, we had our pictures taken at some studio (capture the memories, memories). We spent a couple of minutes having our shots and waiting for them to be printed out.

The moment the three of us stepped outside the mall to head towards wherever the PUVs are, we heard the screams/shouts of the fans. It was a really epic moment for me because in the split of a second, I was there standing and the next thing I knew I was running and telling myself, "Why stand when you're supposed to run?!?" I was running after a bus, and so was Isha, Mira & the rest of the fans.

And then I saw a hand (left or right, I have no idea) from the rear end glass of the bus, waving at the fans, and which belongs to a blond headed member. We found out later that it was Donghyun.

I turned around grinning like an idiot, and I saw my friends with the same looks plastered on their faces. Mahn, that was so awesome! That brief moment where I saw the bus with Boyfriend inside, and that gesture made by one of the members was enough for me. It made me almost forget all the negative things that happened to me half of the day. *lalala-love*

"No way could we have had run that fast." But yes we did!

The three of us started walking back very much satisfied when realized that we ran that fast to have covered such distance in a short time. Not only that. We even jumped around when we realized that the Magic 8-ball was right! We saw Boyfriend. *insert grinning-like-idiots-face here*

Technically, just some of the members.. Err, a member for me. Isha saw Donghyun and Minwoo, Mira saw Youngmin. Unfortunately, no Kwangmin for the three of us ,whose lips were the same as J's.

Everything just seemed happier and even up until now, I'm smiling contentedly to myself. I know Isha & Mira are too.

We may have not seen Boyfriend's performance because of the circumstances, but at least we experienced the happiness of being a Bestfriend. Every little thing that they do for the fans is happiness! :)

my usual end-of-the-post gifs are dedicated to
Kwangmin
Swag. Kwangmin style.
credits to the .gif makers

PS. Kwangmin loves watching movies and reading books and listening to music.
I do too. But that doesn't make us soul mates 'cause if it does, then we'd be soul mates with almost half of the world too.
LOL.

I am very much positive that they will return to the Philippines for a concert. And when that day comes, I hope everyone would be treated fairly. I hope that their future visits in the country would be the total opposite of what had happened today at MOA's center stage.
*a hint of BV-ness*

The difference, aside from the flash and the positioning,
is our smiles.

I never thought I'd be posting this

I wrote/typed these lines on my Sketchpad (Evernote) last year when I found out that a friend dropped all of her N subjects and was planning to shift to another course/college. Then I decided to not make a big deal out of it since I'll be seeing a lot of her around the campus in the future. But then, she transferred to a university in Iloilo at the beginning of this semester and I just have to show her this screenshot.

Just so you know, wala ko pa man gina-istorya kamot ko. :)

I know she's having a good time in there;
I wish I could say ,
"So am I."

A summer, some years ago.

My brother and I were watching 'Wheel of Fortune' in the local TV network some years ago and during the bonus round, the contestant only got the vowel "i" which left him with:

_ _ i _ _ i _ i

I've never been so proud of myself as with the moment I got the answer to that round. "Daiquiri!!!", I shouted as I jumped out of my seat and then jumped around in front of the TV, very much positive that I was right.

And that happened just days after I got my Bath & Body Work's Frozen Daiquiri.

I made this post because I just suddenly remembered the scent of the product. As I've googled for the picture of the Frozen Daiquiri, I just found out that Bath & Body works stopped manufacturing this one. Too bad, they should have had made a whole lot more of this.

PS. I wonder why blogger won't allow the 'ampersand' . :(
