Sa Lobby ng Dorm

Thank You God for Nanay~!!!
There I was sitting in front of the TV when this dorm mate of mine (whom we usually make fun of) sat right next to me. She then asked me to translate a letter (which was written in Filipino) to English.

At first I was pissed off...But as soon as I read the letter, I found out it was for her mother so I decided to help her out. Here she was trying her best to write a letter to her mom and here I am with no single plan on what to do for Nanay tomorrow. Oh, there's one actually. I'm going to text her "Happy Mother's Day!"

So as soon as I finished translating it, she thanked me and said "I te-text ko 'to sa Mama ko." It was one back-to-back notebook page long. It might consume more than three text messages I told her but she said it's okay.

Guess this reminded me to slow down and be like "the school grader me"; back during the days when I used to make a card for my parents during special days and even during normal ones. It doesn't hurt to be cheesy at times, I think. Especially if it's for them.

So I just felt like doing a haiku:
My life was from hers,
And she lived hers for others,
She is a mother.

First Love

I was very much excited to tell my classmate that I have watched the movie "A Thing Called Love" last Tuesday. As I sat beside her I exclaimed, "Uy, napanood ko na yung A Thing Called Love."
Jam: "Maganda?"
Me: "Uhmmmm..."
Jam: "Gwapo?"
Me: (laughs) "Oo."
Fairy tales are funny you know.
When he's near her, all he could
utter were the squids. When she's
near him, all she could think of was
the button.
Please see through me. Please see through
my eyes and know that I am lying.
They promised each other not
to fall for the same girl again.
Duh, who can ever keep a promise?!?
Rub-a-dub-dub. If they
can't hold 'em, just touch 'em.
The best way to end a confession is to fall in the pool
(not shown so as to avoid spoiling the...Oh sorry!)

Just tell the girl "I've waited for you all these years" and voila! She's all yours. XD

:I think it's your right as readers to know that some of the captions in here doesn't even relate to the story itself. And that I made this at 1 am.

Our Earth

This is the planet that gives us LIFE; and this is the same planet we are KILLING.
Disneynature's Earth is a documentary about the only known planet capable of supporting life. It shows how different species of both flora and fauna struggle for survival;and how the mere existence of humankind and its exploitation of the resources tremendously affected the environmental cycle.

This documentary primarily showed how beautiful the Earth is (used to be) and what living-in-one-with-nature really means.

Both the hunters and the hunted have a role to play in maintaining the ecological balance- this was the general principle presented in the film. As unfair as it may seem, there are just events in nature that favor those who are stronger, better. This documentary is both a literal and an allegorical presentation of life.

I watched how a pride of lion takes down an elephant, and I thought---this is no match with the injustice of humans. As the great white shark emerged from the water's surface to display its powerful jaws, that scene is still no match with how power-hungry and blood thirsty people have become.

On the other hand, the bond between each individual (especially that of a mother and offspring) had been portrayed. It also showed the unfolding of seasons; the transition from one stage to the other. There were stories of sacrifices, loss, bravery and success.

Our Mother Earth has a story to tell...It isn't just her story but it's the story of us all-her children.

Go Nuts with NUTELLA!!!

My dorm mates just got this crazy idea: exchange gifts on Valentine's Day for lovelife-less people. The one who picked my name gave me a NUTELLA~!

I look crazy in this video (I've known beforehand that it's NUTELLA because of the size, shape and the hardness of the gift/bottle).

I LOVE YOU whoever you are!!! <--- Creepy O-o
Thank you, thank you!
